Turn the Key Switch ON

The key switch works like an ignition key for your lift. OFF prevents the panel, remote, and app from moving it.

Lift movement is blocked until the controller confirms that the physical key is ON.

What to do

Find the key switch on the lift control panel.
Turn the key fully to ON and leave it there.
Wait for the controller to report Key ON, then make a fresh movement request with the lift in sight.

What this message means

The controller has not detected the key in the ON position, so movement is blocked. If the key is already ON, the switch or its connection may need service. Your dealer can check it.

If it remains

If the message does not clear

Turn the key fully OFF, wait two seconds, then turn it fully ON.
Check the controller lights and labeled, user-accessible power indicator from a safe position. Do not open an electrical panel or touch wiring.
If your control panel has no key switch, ask your Atlantis dealer to check that the controller is set up for your lift. Do not change the key settings yourself.
If the warning remains, stop trying to move the lift and contact your Atlantis dealer or Atlantis Support. Share a photo of the message and note whether it changes when you turn the key.

When to leave the key OFF

When the lift will not be used for a while
To prevent children or guests from operating it
During service, as an extra precaution after a qualified person has disconnected and secured the electrical power

KEY OFF does not disconnect electrical power. A qualified person must safely disconnect and secure the power before electrical or mechanical service.
